Fuelled by the spirit of rebellious hope – of choosing to remain hopeful in the face of overwhelming odds – the Bowelbabe Fund for Cancer Research UK was set up to continue the incredible legacy of Dame Deborah James.

 

We raise money to fund cutting edge research into early detection and personalised medicine, raise awareness of signs and symptoms and tackle the stigmas around cancer with unflinching honesty so we can give more people affected by cancer more time with the people they love.

Since setting up the Bowelbabe Fund in May 2022, it's now gone on to raise over £12.6m including Gift Aid and we've now committed over £10m in projects across the Cancer Research UK, the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and Bowel Cancer UK.
